Our Experience at the Voghera Country Festival 2025
From June 26th to 29th, the idyllic Cowboys’ Guest Ranch in Voghera witnessed a slice of America bringing its spirit to the Italian countryside. The 17th edition of the Voghera Country Festival cemented its reputation as the premier country event in Europe..
Crowds and Festive Atmosphere
With over 50 teams competing— breaking the previous participation record — and a massive turnout of nearly 4,000 people from across Europe (France, Spain, Belgium, Switzerland, Austria, Slovenia, among others) and even the United States - , the festival once again confirmed its international appeal.
Live Music and Special Guests
The headliner of this year’s edition was Kendra Kay, a young Canadian sensation who captivated the audience with her high-energy neotraditional country sound.
She was joined by three outstanding acts:
- Mikol Frachey, who followed in Kendra’s footsteps with a fresh take on contemporary country.
- The Castrol Brothers, a modern five-piece band performing hits from Jon Pardi, Luke Combs, and Morgan Wallen.
- Dobro Country Rock Band, with powerful riffs and a strong sound, perfect for the festival’s sunset vibe.
- The already iconic after-parties, animated by DJ Steve Frapolli , and the endless hours of dancing provided by DJ Eros, DJ Jonathan Jones, and others, kept the party alive.
Top-Tier Workshops
Three standout instructors led high-quality workshops:
- Daniel Trepat (NL), an experienced dancer and choreographer known for his dynamic style and technical precision, with a long history at European festivals.
- Pol F. Ryan (ES), an emerging talent whose passion for country rhythms gives him a controlled and elegant style. His fresh personality makes him a show to watch both on and off stage.
- Adia Nuno (USA), a key figure in the modern scene, blending urban styles and advanced technique with natural charisma.

This year, we had the pleasure of sponsoring the Intermediate and Advanced Catalan Cup , Wrap Style, and Over 100 categories.
The festival staff, led by Silvia Denise Staiti and Johnny Rossato, along with the fabulous Showcaseorchestrated by West and Girls , delivered a powerful mix of technique and entertainment in a truly vibrant performance.
VCF Awards
Friday night shined with the VCF Awardsceremony, recognizing the best choreographies (Traditional, Catalan, Wrap) and the most outstanding European dance school — all categories voted by the public before the event.
Atmosphere and Experience
The Cowboys’ Guest Ranch, spanning 100,000 m², featuring the Cowboyland theme park, a saloon, Tex-Mex restaurant, themed hotel, and the PalaTexas arena for 4,000 attendees, offered an immersive experience. Various stands showcased everything from western fashion and native crafts to boots, hats, accessories, and more.

With record-breaking participation, a lineup that combined rising stars like Kendra Kay with established talent, thrilling line-dance competitions, and a warm, family-friendly vibe, it proved to be an essential journey to the Old West without ever leaving Northern Italy.
